QM: S4 Cloud - RR inspection point - Err QAIPP

During RR inspection point for 03 insp.type, when I click SAVE, I got the error message "QAIPP contains neither a quantity nor no. of rejects".

I entered the numerical results but don't understand why this message is displayed. Please advise.

Hi Gsantana ,

The error 'QAIPP contains neither a quantity nor no. of rejects' can occur in the App ' Record Results for Inspection Points' if you have not set the inspection point completion as "2"

The app Record Results for Inspection Points should have the below configuration

At operation level, the flow variant for inspection point completion shall be Valuation (i.e. 2) . For the interval, the following options are valid:

Time (Time-Related)

Interval Without Reference to Time or Quantity

In this case the quantity & the scrap quantity field will always be zero because a quantity proposal is only possible if the following condition is fulfilled:

•Quantity-based inspection intervals are defined at operation level in the task list.

which is not the case with the app Record Results for Inspection Points

That means it should not depend on the quantity & it will only work in quantity independent cases.With the inspection point completion set as " " or "1" that means it depends on the quantity & it will go through the quantity check.

So,Kindly create a new inspection lot with inspection point completion as 2 & check.

Let us know if still the error occurs.

Hi Enda,

Please see the screenshot attachment - I set the valuation either Accepted or Rejected still having the same error message, in the app, there is no way to set the completion status or I might not know it, kindly give me a screenshot which button/ icon to be clicked if aware.

in this case , as Devin mentioned - it would be best to create an incident so we can check the issue in detail to find why the error is raised.

Doesn't seem to be anything wrong based on the screenshot. Not sure why the error says you don't specify a quantity when the entries are clearly there. Are there any other contextual details you could share?

nothing special, time-based inspection point (pick up from default list SAP) & tried the recording with all passed then some records failed = still having the same error message, it seems the interface didn't transfer the Qty fields..

Ok, might warrant a support ticket. Something doesn't seem right especially if its default data.
