Hello Everyone
In allocation process, does anyone know if it is possible to update statistical key figures through excel file upload ?
Our client will need to update statistical figures every month, with a large amount of data.
Thanks a lot in advance

Dear riwamouawad , ccsmith , Former Member
We've seen and tested this new app "Import Statistical Key Figures Plan Data", but we think we have two problems:
1. We don't have the wbs element like field available to include in this excel. Do you know if it's possible to have it?.
2. If the data is plan data, is it possible to distribute real data with these values?
Can you help me, please?
dmaldji Hello! Yes, the template is not downloadable via the application "Import Statistical Key Figures." Please take a look at these links to see the file format needed, and the overall process:

dmaldji No problem. There are several applications that will show the data, one application being the Plan / Actual report. What is the use case for using the Import Statistical Key Figures Plan Data? Are you using projects? If so, there might be other applications that are of interest to you.
Best,
Riwa
Hi jlrodriguez2017,

Are you referring to this https://api.sap.com/api/API_STATISTICALKEYFIGURE_SRV/resource?
This is the one I was referring to https://api.sap.com/api/STATISTICALKEYFIGPOSTINGREQUES/overview
Good to see this plan app with 1902.
Can anyone from SAP reveal whether a similar .xls based load for actuals is on the roadmap - as this is probably of more business use?

Dear Former Member,
Finally, how have you thought to do the update statistical key figures through excel file upload?. Have you used the API?.
I see that in 1902 release, there is an app called "Import Statistical Key Figures Plan Data". I don't understand what is this new app and if it's useful in this situation.
Can you help me, please?

Good to know what's out there from Clare, but feels like a simple upload could be value added for a lot of people. We'll for example use headcount per department to allocate overhead - enough data to be a pain, not enough to develop an API call. I'll watch this post to see if anyone logs as an enhancement request, but will do so myself after our implementation is over...

There is an API for 'Post Statistical Key Figures' which should allow you to develop something fairly simple to do this
