How do I have a pre-selected list of Project managers to choose from?

Hi

Does anyone know how we set-up a preselected list of Project Managers to choose from on SAP?

I am setting up simple projects and this field is something I require even though it isn't a mandatory field.

Hi Former Member . You can try using a custom field for this.

Maintain it for Engagement Project, using a Code List, and you could maintain what's basically an external list of values (project manager names in this case) there. Then you can add it to your Plan Projects UI as in this screenshot.

Yes, I want to get a list of individuals with a PM role ins simple projects. However, they don't have SAP access. I just want a drop down to select from.

Hi Yasmin,

Can you please elaborate. Is your question to get a list of individuals with the PM role so you know if they can be assigned to the simple project as PM? If so, you can search the business role and see the list of users with the role. If they have the role then they can be assigned as the PM to the project. All users with the PM role will come up as a selection.
