API review customer project - update forecast for PoC

Hi,

Currently the only way to update the customer project forecast is to use the app "review customer project". My customer is using an external program (linked to non-SAP system as well) to feed S4 with plan and actual data. But for the forecast, they have to maintain manually because no interfacing is possibel.

I could not find any API to load forecast data which is really important to get a correct POC. 

By any chance , any of you has already a such requirement? Do you know if SAP has foresee something on the roadmap about an API for forecast on customer porject?

Hi Carlos,

I hope you're all well. Based on your query, the ideal scenario would be to identify the underlining CDS view that corresponds to the app " review customer project" and expose the content of the data via ODATA service and use that CDS view as the API via communication scenario (subsequently create Comm. Arrangement)

Based on your requirement, I am finding it hard to relate the corresponding CDS view, however, the closest I could find is Engagement Project Margin Analysis Query

The link above explains the purpose, the pre-requisites and the structure of the business object associated with the query. So, to create a CDS view based on this query, the underlining data source is I_EngmntProjSalesMarginCube

As far as the roadmap is concerned, we have customer Projects API’s planned for the 1905 release. And you could find the information below:

Hi,

I am interested by this topic. The information provided is more related to how to retreive the data based on a CDS view.

However, did you found a solution to load customer project reviews? I couldn't find any API doing this and indeed, it is a very important step to have a correct POC and revenue calculation.
