cancel of a credit memo request

Hello,

we have posted in April a credit memo (on the customer side), created with the app manage credit memo request. We would like to do a cancel of the credit memo in May. 

If we go on the app manage billing documents, and select the credit memo and then we press cancel billing document it will cancel it with the same date as the booking ( April) but we want to cancel it with May date.

Can the system SAP cancel a credit note (from customer side ) with other month than the month that was booked?

When you click on Cancel for the credit memo you are referring to, a new screen will show up (Cancel Billing Document). On this screen you can change de default billing date. You can here indicate a different date to be used, together with the cancellation reason.

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately when I click on cancel billing document I have just a window were is asking me if I want to cancel the document and if I choose yes, it will be post automatic with the same date as the credit note, I don't have the option to choose the date. I've just found that if I use the app Create Billing Documents - VF01 here, yes I can set the date of the credit note cancellation . I found a solution 🙂
