Universal Fiori Launchpad

Hi - Is it possible to create a "universal" fiori Launchpad with specific apps and assign to all users? We want to create a Finance app group with basic finance apps and assign to all finance users so that they do not have to do this exercise.

Hello,

I am not sure if you are familiar with an app called IAM Information System. This app essentially gives you an overview on the list of business users to determine who has access to which app. So, once we have this holistic picture it will be easier for the admin to manage authorization accordingly, so that user group specific to each LoB will have the relevant app available in their respective profile.

In my screenshot attached, you will see that I have filtered the 'Main Entity' by Application and Business users and I could notice that there are about 111 business users associated to the application- Accounts Payable Overview. The Admin can manage the app by its user. If you can explore this app little further, I am sure this might potentially be the closest match to your expectation.

I am assuming the request was more around creating a new custom grouping (which is a very common requirement amongst clients) rather than reporting the existing groupings

Agree that this would be really useful - perhaps what SAP need to do is to open up an option to create custom business catalogs - or at least to deliver a few 'blank' catalogs and/or app groups that a customer can then use for deploying their own bespoke groupings of apps to multiple business users

Good question! I've wondered if there are default fiori group templates that can be applied or associated with the business roles.
