GL acct posted to project/WBS not reported in PS report

Hi,

I realized that apparently, in S4H Public Cloud, in order to have Project Reports like Project Budget, Project Plan/Actual, Project Fin Controller be updated with Project Plans, Budgets, actuals and commitments, the GL accounts used MUST belong to Fin Stmt version YPS2 (the standard cloud FSV).

The question I have is that how I do still get them (GL accounts) reported in these PS reports if the company is using its own Fin Stmt version (not YPS2), but another Fin Stmt version?

The GL accounts have been assigned to this FSV (e.g. XXY1), but not to FSV YPS2.  They are currently not reported at all by these PS reports.

Best regards,

Ruslan M

Hi Ruslan,

You are correct, in order to utilize Project Reports, FSV YPS2 must be utilized. If the current GL accounts that you are utilizing are not mapped in YPS2, you have the option to map them to their respective area/"bucket." There is SAP documentation readily available on how you can maintain a FSV.

Please refer to the following links:

No problem. Yes, you will have to maintain YPS2 going forward to use project reports. All project reports are linked to FSV YPS2. Also, please refer to this KBA for more information: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2799100

Thanks Riwa! The question I still have is do we always have to map the GL accts to FSV YPS2, even though we don't use it and the fact we have already mapped the GL accts to another FSV (XXX1), in order to get them reported in the PS reports?
