is it possible to record time out of the assigned Workpackage?

Dear Community, 

is it possible for a Project member to record time out of the Workpackage period which he/she has been assigned? Or can the project Manager or the team lead can record/change also the time instead of the project member out of the  period which he/she has been assigned?

I have tried several configurations however it doesnt seem to be feasible in Cloud.

Hi Mustafa,

Great point and definitely on the agenda of many professional services customers.

As you have concluded from your tests currently this feature is not supported. However, it is on the roadmap. Keep an eye for innovations related to 'Time Recording Without Staffing.' At this point I would not be able to provide you information on which release but, I am aware of the consideration in Labs.

Just to add: the API for the timesheets does allow posting time without staffing (API_MANAGE_WORKFORCE_TIMESHEET)
