Future ability to control fields with a product/material type

Hi

Are there any plans in the upcoming releases to allow SSCUI/config control on the fields available in each product/material view e.g. ability to make the profit centre mandatory for Traded goods and finished goods ? We are considering using the BADI's to enforce this but would prefer not too if there are plans to open up the field status in the future

Hi Irene , i checked the roadmap and currently there is no SSCUI or Expert Configuration planned for field selecton in the Manage Product and Material Masters App's .

Please use the SAP Continuous Influence program at the link https://www.sap.com/about/customer-involvement/influence-adopt.sap-continuous-influence.html for it to be considered for the next release

Hi Irene, you mean hier the "Field Reference" functionality in the material types right? I will also vote for this!
